Puddle's Young Wing Ceremony

[Rain]

Rain glanced around, not believing that this was happening. She was the leader of Ocean Band, taking over and doing ceremonies. Her voice trembled as she called to
the Band.
"Penguins of Ocean Band, gather around to hear the announcements I have to say," Rain shouted happily.
She remembered when Puddle joined Ocean Band like yesterday, she shook off the memory and sighed. There were no penguins to join anyway. Oh well!
"A chick had reached its time when the parents or guardians feel it can become a young wing," she continued. "Puddle, please waddle forward. From this day on until you become a gladiator, you will be a young wing of Ocean Band. I, Rain, will be your mentor. I will guide his flippers in the way of Polar Band And I will help him to become a great addition to Ocean Band."
Rain sighed.

[Puddle]

Puddle stepped forward when Rain spoke of his name.
"I follow the path of Polar Band and Rain so that I can guide my Band to success," he said from memory.
He bowed his head, silently thanking Polar Band. He thought for sure he was going to forget that. Puddle had been practicing since he was a chick but still... This was a total surprise for the young wing. He smiled to himself and waited for Rain to finish.

Rain smiled down at her new young wing before continuing her speech.
"I accept this young wing as my apprentice," she said gladly. "And I'll guide his flippers in the way of the great Polar Band."
When the leader had finished, she bowed her head like Puddle had done and began whispering thanks to Polar Band. When she was done, she lifted her head and smiled at Puddle.
"Congratulations," Rain murmured in his ear.
She hopped down from The Wave Stone and waddled back to her den.
