Whirlpool Corporation , a global manufacturer of kitchen and laundry appliances, works committedly to generate community and support networks in all the regions where it is present. WhirlpoolCorporation celebrates 110 years of being a reference in the kitchen and laundry appliance manufacturing sector, committed to society and the communities where it operates, creating impact projects in vulnerable communities. For more than 20 years , Whirlpool created an alliance with Habitat for Humanity, a non-governmental organization that works so that people have a suitable home to live in. Together they have worked in more than 45 countries on Chinese Australia Phone Number List volunteer projects and delivery of household appliances , which have benefited more than 104 thousand families globally. This year, as part of Water Month, the company donated 10 top-loading washing machines to the Yoltika Indigenous Women's House , in the Sierra Norte of Puebla. As well as 10 top-loading washing machines with Xpert System technology to the San Juan Bautista Jutiapa, Fray Rodrigo de la Cruz, María Guirola and Virgen del Socorro homes, in Guatemala.
It promoted the IV Housing and Habitat Forum held from May 17 to 21, to generate ideas that help overcome the crisis in social housing and vulnerable settlements during and after the COVID-19 crisis. In total, 20 water-saving washing machines have been installed in Mexico and Guatemala, distributed in five support centers for vulnerable people (indigenous women, care homes for people with disabilities and nursing homes for the elderly). In 2021, 5 washing machines and 5 dryers were also donated to the community laundry service at the Community Development Centers in Usme, Colombia, which will benefit 850 families per year.
