August Member of the Month

Hey you guys, it's meh Rain!

This month (August) we'll be staring Member of the Month and Band of the Month. Possibly Thread of the Month if we have time. So let me just review some rules here for MOTM before we begin.

1.) You can vote for whoever you want except for yourself.
2.) You can only vote once.
3.) You vote for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention. You must explain why you chose those people.
4.) It's based on points. Whoever you vote for for first gets 4 points, second gets 3 points, third gets 2 points and HM gets 1 point.
5.) At the end, whoever has the most points wins 1st, second most points get 2nd, etc.
6.) The first place winner gets 200 posts and 25 karma points.
7.) The second place winner gets 150 posts and 20 karma points.
8.) The third place winner gets 100 posts and 15 karma points.
9.) The Honorable Mention winner gets 50 posts and 10 karma points.
10.) This is nawt a random chat room. You can post to thank people or to place your votes but that's it!

If there's anything I'm missing, PM an admin and they can edit this post.
The contest will start on August 5th and stop on August 25th. Please don't post here until then.

Don't mean to double post or anything, don't worry the karma will be removed ;D, but today is the start of the voting!!!! Yay!!! So everyone post and congratulate everyone and please be a good sport! Thanks!

1st place- I vote for Fleur because she does most of the behind-the-scenes stuff. Whenever I find a new code, I enter it and then Fleur goes and fixes it because usually, I did something wrong. ;D So thank you Fleur!

2nd place- I vote for Slick because he just recently joined Polar Island and is now has more posts than his own leader (though no one can top meh ;D JK LOL enter). He's a great RPer and still has time to chat on IOL and the C-Box. Keep up the great work!

3rd place- I vote for Slushy because she was the second person ever to join my site and I'm grateful to her for creating and shaping my dreams. Frost is helping her in RPs and I'm trying everywhere else. Though sometimes she may get on my nerves, she's a good friend to the end.

HM- Puddle because he and I have been shaping his character really well and I've been teaching him the best techniques to RPing. He's doing really well and I'm proud of him.

1.) I vote for Rain because she created this ah-mazing site and she has the most posts and karma out of everyone!

2.) I vote for Slick because us guys have to stick together! Lol just kidding. But he's been doing super good RPs and general threads.

3.) I vote for Glacier because she became a staffie really quickly and that must mean the admin trust her a lot! Yay!

HM.) I vote for Fleur because like Rain said, she does all the behind the scenes stuff (well not all of it but you know what I mean) and works with Rain really hard.

Coolio, I got votes! I guess there's a first for everything!

1st- I vote for Fleur (and not for the reasons people may think! ;P) Because she does such a good job with the codes that give me head aches, she's upbeat despite the fact she keeps saying she's negative, and she's a all-around good hearted person and Leader that tries her best to please everyone. ;D

2nd- I'm picking Rain, because though I admit I thought Penguins were kind of a lame RP idea for this kind of stuff, she has managed to pound into my head that they are cooler (for a lack of a better word ) than I thought. She's super creative and silly -and puts a smile on my face whenever she posts.

3rd- Though I don't know you very well, Slushy is my third choice because I have noticed your efforts and your loveable-ness in motion. Though you may be a newbie now, work hard on those RP's and you'll become master like us big-time staffies.

Honorable Mention- Looks like the last one for me is Mr. Puddle! Guys do indeed, must stick together! (Which is more than I can ask for on IOL, where I'm the only guy -.-) Whenever you're on, you catch up on what you left off... something that I do very well appreciate. Your character, I'm sure, is coming out greatly and I look forward to RPing with a MALE. (Not that's there's anything wrong with females of course!)

Really, Slick is an awesome RPer, is on a lot, despite the fact that he may be the only one on at that time. He actually joined even though he said he wouldn't, and he actually has enough patience to put up with us! xD

2nd place: Raineh

3rd place: Icee

Icee hasn't been as active as say, Rain, but she joined Snow band even though there is no leader in her band. Most of us know how lonely it can be in a tribe clan or band by ourself, but Icee has delt with it amazingly!

HM: Hmmmm... This is hard....

I'm going to give it to both Puddle and Slushy. ;D Sue me Rain, but they both deserve it!
Puddle tries extremley hard in RPs, and is quite active. I'm sorry to say I've never met him, Raineh says he's a good friend. xD
Slushy is trying very hard to spell things correctly, and use correct grammar, and she deserves credit for that! Also, she's really the only one who can argue with Rain and win. ;D We love ya Slushy!!!!
